(4) Meyer MILO with dolly and cover
Meyer Sound’s MILO, a high-power curvilinear array loudspeaker is remarkably compact and lightweight for a self-contained unit, particularly considering that it delivers 140 dB SPL peak output with exceptionally flat phase and frequency response. MILO is able to reproduce delicate transients with extraordinary resolution, even in very-long-throw, thanks to its three dedicated, very-high frequency transducers, which extend MILO's operating range to 18 kHz and increase available high frequency headroom.

The Self-Powered Advantage

  • No amplifier racks
  • No heavy speaker cables
  • Simplified set-up or installation
  • reliability and flexibility

MILO can serve as the keystone component in scalable, building block systems comprising combinations of M Series products. For example, where MILO can transition to MICA compact high-power curvilinear array loudspeakers or M'elodie ultracompact high-power curvilinear array loudspeakers for near-field coverage. MILO can also be paired with the M3D line array for very large venue, while the MILO 120 high-power expanded coverage and MILO 60 high-power narrow coverage curvilinear array loudspeakers make ideal complements to MILO for downfill , even sharing the same dimensions and QuickFly rigging components as MILO. M Series products were designed to have compatible acoustical and performance characteristics.

    • Very small footprint and narrow width ideal for small venues or fill applications
    • Exceptional fidelity and transient response for intelligibility and high impact
    • Extremely high power-to-size ratio
    • Flexible mounting options
    • Wide and even horizontal coverage pattern
    • Seamless integration with M'elodie and MICA

Meyer Sound MICA on Norah Jones's 2010 tour: An Interview with Sound Engineers 02:10

Norah Jones was first supported by a Meyer Sound system in 2002 following the release of the multi-GRAMMY-winning Come Away with Me. She was also one of the first artists to tour with a Meyer Sound MILO line array loudspeaker system. On her 2010 tour in support of album "The Fall," Norah Jones carried a Meyer Sound MICA system supplied by Audio Analysts, with FOH Engineer Brett Dicus and System Tech Spencer Ellis.
